"I have two things wrong with me that make me a good bead maker. 1) I really like seeing if I can do things that other people don't ordinarily do (like, for instance, running a marathon, or teaching 9th graders) and 2) I really like for a bead to turn out exactly the way I want it to. So, often I will sit at a torch forever to make beads that are exactly the same size, or shape, or pattern. If you saw the way the rest of my life is organized (or not) you would be completely amazed at this one area that I have chosen to be anal retentive about. I guess I want people who purchase my beads to know that they have a very well made bead in their hands, and that I take pride in every bead that I sell, because I really put my heart and soul into my beadmaking. Since I have chosen this as my passion, the dust bunnies will have to wait..."
